People influence people. Appeal to their motivation to connect to each other - not just your brand, product and services. And, provide them with something they will feel smart sharing. Finally, “Be real.” People can sense dishonesty and those who are fake from a mile away.
Don’t make claims that cannot be guaranteed. Your promotions must not be false, misleading, or fraudulent. Don't use links in your promotion to point to websites that open pop-up or pop-under when a user enters or leaves the page. All links MUST be related to the content in your promotion.
"Don’t try to get what you want by manipulation."
Your words and content represent you; review/edit your words and images before posting.
Your success depends a lot on the first impression.
If your message is short, people will be more likely to read it.
Short paragraphs written in plain language, with limited verbose performs much better.
Keep it simple and light. Remember the old advertising maxim: "sell the sizzle, not the sausage".
Just asking is one of the best way to get someone to give you what you want.
Ask people to share your promotion. Ask for it in your promotion page, and ask for it by email or tweet.
Spam is bad.
Be aware of Greed

You'll be caught, But don't let that only stop you :)
